
soma earth TEACHINGS offers a series of natural living, creating and building seminars & workshops throughout Toronto, Guelph and York Regions (Uxbridge, Udora, Keswick, Sunderland, etc.) Seminars are often on Tuesday evenings in Thornhill (north of Toronto), once a month or more at Hesperus Village (north east of Hwy 7 & Bathurst). They all promote natural living, creating and building.
We welcome home owners, students, professionals or designers who want to gain natural building experience or experienced builders that are interested in sustainable and self-sufficient living.We encourage women, elders and youth to take our seminars or workshops and empower themselves to become self-sufficient with low impact building skills & sustainable living awareness! Discounts are available for groups or family registration.
All soma earth workshops occur either on the weekend or during the occasional week for a more intensive construction practice. The weekend workshops include two 7 hour hands-on working days with lunch provided. Accommodations and other meals can be provided upon request. The weekend workshops have a maximum of 20 people and the week long intensives allow only 10 people, so please register early to assure your place.

ENERGY BALANCING - bodies and spaces, East and West energy balancing techniques, including yoga, dowsing, shamanic visioning and more.
CIRCLE FORM PRACTICES - opening and closing circles, food blessings, respectful communication, honouring of differences, sharing of hearts, inclusion of all diversities, deep listening, holding silence as needed, emotional responsibility, harmonic sounding, creating sacred space.
MEDITATIONS - guided and visual and present moment meditations explored
HOLISTIC FOOD - organic, natural, holistic, sometime meats other times raw or vegan, allergies and sensitivities easily accomodated
SELF SUFFICIENT LIVING PRINCIPLES - learning how to live in harmony with the rhythms of the earth, daily and seasonal rituals, homesteading principles and self sustainable living emphasized.
