Author of soma earth HOME ENERGETIC BALANCING (2009), will give a talk on her compilation of several years experience, learning how to bring greater balance into your home & work environment (such as electromagnetic, electrical, geopathic, water courses, metaphysical, Feng Shui, space clearing, etc.).

There are numerous methods and modalities that can balance the unseen energies in your home, office or even your land. You can enhance or shift your destiny or your physical condition if you know how to pay attention to your environment and the relationship that this has to your personal life, health and future. The purpose of this talk and her book is to show you a variety of choices and give you tools as well as the freedom of how to combine them in ways that match best in terms of who you are and what you prefer.

Hailed by Natural Home Magazine in 2005 as one of the top 10 green architects in the USA, PAULA BAKER-LAPORTE leads the EcoNest design team. Paula is the primary author of "Prescriptions for a Healthy House", is co-author of "EcoNest" and is a contributing author to "A People's Ecology".

Paula graduated from the University of Toronto School of Architecture in 1978 and moved to Santa Fe, NM in 1981 where she currently lives with her husband Robert Laporte and daughter Sarah. Paula has been designing fine custom homes in Santa Fe since 1986. She is an architect, a certified Bau-biologist (Building Biologist), and a co-founder of the Healthy Housing Coalition.

Paula and the EcoNest design team specialize in non-toxic and sustainable design. "We create attractive home and workplaces which are conceived with an ecological mindfulness and endowed with health enhancing qualities. Your ideas, your budget, and your dreams are the palette around which our team creates with you." Ingrid Cryns

INGRID CRYNS, BES, B Arch, OAA, CBT, brings versatility and a wide range of experience to her work as an Eco-Architect. A University of Waterloo graduate (1984) Ingrid has over 15 years of experience running and managing a variety of complex projects from small houses, renovations, additions & multi-residential housing to large (up to $12ML) community centres, museums, performing arts centres & commercial projects. Her work as an Architect and designer has been published in various magazines in Canada & the US. Ingrid is a guest critic in the OCAD (Ontario College of Art & Design, Toronto) Design Studio & guest lecturer at the Sheridan College, Interior Design Program (Oakville) & the Fleming College, Sustainable Design Program (Haliburton), as well as the Project Architect for the 2007 (RD Lawrence Museum, Minden) & 2008 (Madoc Performing Arts Centre) Natural Building projects at the Fleming College Sustainable Design Program.

Ingrid is on the Board of Directors of the Ontario Strawbale Building Coalition (www.osbbc.ca). Her work focuses on natural building design, including healthy, non-toxic, earth & biofibre (e.g. strawbale) buildings.

Ingrid has recently published ‘soma earth HOME ENERGETIC BALANCING’ (2009), a compilation of several years experience, learning how to heal and balance the invisible energies (such as electromagnetic, electrical, geopathic, water courses, metaphysical, Feng Shui, space clearing, etc.), in the spaces that she lives and works in.
