Architectural Design Consultations

  • By the Hour.  We can consult with home owners, businesses, contractors and designers on an hourly fee basis to support your interests & work with our professional advice – especially for green sustainable design & building.
  • A fixed, lump sum fee is better for a long term project because you have a clear up-front cost for the total project as defined in a written Scope of Work & Contract.  It is often based on a % fee (5% - 20% depending on the scope & complexity of the project) of the construction cost (material & labour) and a retainer is required to begin the contract.  If there are any scope or cost changes, the client is notified and an hourly fee is charged outside the original contract.
  • A cost-plus fixed fee does not change with actual costs, but may be adjusted as a result of any changes in the scope of work or services to be performed under the agreement not included in the original contract.  Usually a form of compensation is arranged that is equal to the expenses plus a bonus (a fixed amount agreed to beforehand or a percentage).  It is often used when long-term quality is a much higher concern than cost and when we offer a design-build service.

Environmental Energy Balancing

A unique blend of various forms of Feng Shui, Space Clearing & Blessing techniques:

  • Detrimental subtle energies are assessed such as the energies associated with some underground water streams, geopathic stress lines, electromagnetic fields (EMFs), and other possible energies.  A combination of muscle testing, and sophisticated, cutting edge, EMF/Electrical testing machines and/or dowsing tools are used to locate the detrimental energies.  Then a variety of different tools or interventions are selected with clear intention such as prayer, flower oils/essences, sacred geometry shapes/objects, colour, and/or sound to bring the space into a healthier, more harmonious balance.
  • Harmful energies of EMF’s are associated with electrical appliances such as televisions, computer screens, stereos, land-line/remote/cell phones, microwave ovens, breaker boxes and electrical transformers.
